Will I Have To Pay Customs Duties On My US Order?

Will I have to pay customs duties on my US order?
 Yes. From September 1, 2025, all orders shipped from the UK to the US are subject to customs duties. These duties are set and collected by US Customs, not Plantmade.
How does it work?

  • After your order ships, US Customs may contact you directly by email or phone to arrange payment.
  • Duties are not included in your Plantmade order total and are not payable to us.
  • Please make sure your email and phone number are correct at checkout so Customs can reach you.

What happens if I don’t pay?
 If duties are unpaid or the package goes unclaimed, the order will return to us. In this case, we can only issue a partial refund, because carriers charge us high fees when shipments don’t clear customs.
What are you doing to help?
 We’re working on offering shipping options where duties are included at checkout. This will remove the extra step and make the process easier for you.
